Senior Executive Assistant to the Executive Director
Teresa Coon is a Senior Executive Assistant to the incoming Executive Director at CGEP. In the meantime, she will be working with the Development Team and getting up to speed on CGEP’s activities. Teresa recently returned from a career in France at the International Energy Agency, where she worked closely with IEA Executive Director Dr. Fatih Birol and Laura Cozzi, Chief Energy Modeller, playing a key role in preparing the annual IEA flagship publication World Energy Outlook (WEO) as well as Special Reports focussing on specific energy sources (NZE, wind, solar, etc.) Her international experience in fast-paced and demanding environments, experience in organizing events and international travel, and diplomatic skills will be helpful in providing strong organization and strategic support to the CGEP.
