Daniel Sternoff is the Head of Energy Aspects’ Executive Briefing Service, advising C-Suite leaders, investment committees, corporate boards, strategic planners and governments on geopolitics, energy and climate policy and macroeconomics.
Mr. Sternoff has 25 years’ experience helping the world’s top institutional investors, corporations and sovereign entities navigate their exposures at the intersection of energy, geopolitics, economics and financial markets. Mr. Sternoff was previously Managing Director with Macro Advisory Partners, a policy intelligence and strategic advisory firm, and Senior Managing Director with Medley Global Advisors, directing the firm’s Washington DC policy research and leading its Energy and Emerging Markets practices with a focus on oil markets, China, and the Middle East.
Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Sternoff was a Jerusalem-based correspondent with Reuters and directed the financial news agency’s Treasury and Foreign Exchange desks in New York. He holds an MA in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from Duke University. He speaks Hebrew, Arabic and Portuguese.
