Dr. F. Todd Davidson is the Deputy Director for the Center for Innovation and Engineering and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point. His teaching and research focus on the technical, financial, security, and policy challenges related to the interdependent nature of energy systems. Dr. Davidson holds an affiliated research position with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UT Austin. He is also a Partner with IdeaSmiths, LLC, a consulting firm providing expertise in analyzing energy systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from Trinity University and a Master of Science and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, both in Mechanical Engineering.
