Former President and CEO, Heidrick & Struggles, Former Partner, Goldman Sachs
Tracy R. Wolstencroft’s career spans a range of leadership positions: partner of Goldman Sachs, president and CEO of Heidrick & Struggles, and president and CEO of the National Geographic Society.
At Goldman Sachs, he managed a broad range of the firm’s investment banking business in Asia, Latin America, and the U.S. Mr. Wolstencroft separately chaired the firm’s clean energy technology practice. At Heidrick & Struggles, the firm was transformed by globally expanding its executive search practice in the C-suite and boardroom, and then creating Heidrick Consulting. At the National Geographic Society, he served during the transition to the Walt Disney Company as the Society’s new joint venture partner.
Mr. Wolstencroft is chair emeritus of the International Rescue Committee, and is a longstanding trustee of the Brookings Institution and the National Geographic Society. He also serves as a member of the advisory board at Carbon Direct and Macro Advisory Partners. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
