Tracy R. Wolstencroft is Senior Advisor to TPG Rise Climate and serves on the board of a number of the firm’s portfolio companies. His career spans a range of leadership positions: partner of Goldman Sachs, president and CEO of Heidrick & Struggles, and president and CEO of the National Geographic Society.
At Goldman Sachs, he led a broad range of the firm’s investment banking business in Asia, Latin America, and the United States. Mr. Wolstencroft separately was a member of the firmwide partnership committee, and chaired the firm’s clean energy technology practice.
At Heidrick & Struggles, the firm was transformed by globally expanding its executive search practice in the C-suite and boardroom, and then creating Heidrick Consulting.
At the National Geographic Society, he served during the pivotal transition to the Walt Disney Company as the Society’s new joint venture partner for its commercial media platform.
Mr. Wolstencroft is chair emeritus of the International Rescue Committee, and is a longstanding trustee of the Brookings Institution and previously the National Geographic Society. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
