The following color-coded campus status levels have been developed to simplify communication regarding the current circumstances on and around the Morningside campus. The campus status level is based upon the potential disruption to our academic mission and/or campus operations. The status level will be adjusted up or down to reflect then-current circumstances, including information received from law enforcement and other sources regarding potential events that could affect Columbia. Continued adherence to university rules and policies remains fundamental to maintaining an open campus. Read more.

One year ago, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine disrupted energy markets in Europe and around the world. Europe’s policymakers responded with unprecedented measures, emphasizing their strong commitment to both energy security and the clean energy transition. Teresa Ribera, Vice President and Minister for the Ecological Transition of the Government of Spain, has been a key player in shaping policy on these issues in Brussels and Madrid, and is a widely-respected voice on energy and climate issues globally. Please join us for a dialogue with Minister Ribera moderated by David Sandalow, Inaugural Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy.
