Please join the Center on Global Energy Policy and the Center on Global Economic Governance for a talk with Bill White, Chairman, Lazard Houston, former Mayor of Houston, and CGEP Founding Advisory Board Member, on his new book, America’s Fiscal Constitution: Its Triumph and Collapse. In his book, Bill White tells the story of the American leaders who imposed clear limits on the use of federal debt, provides historical context for today’s budget battles, dispels common budget myths, and distills practical lessons from the nation’s five previous spikes in debt.
