Join the Women in Energy for a roundtable lunch and recruitment information session with Cathy Chen (SIPA ’17, Women in Energy member), Senior Advisor at the Canadian Department of Natural Resources who is currently working on Mission Innovation. Ms. Chen will discuss her academic and job histories, career paths, perspectives on what it means to be a female leader in the energy industry, and share career advice. Cathy will also provide recruitment information on the Policy Analyst Recruitment and Development Program (PARDP) from the Canadian Department of Natural Resources and share her experience participating in the program. This roundtable is open to all students and Women in Energy professional members. Please note that only Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply for the PARDP. What is PARDP? The Policy Analyst Recruitment and Development Program (PARDP) is Natural Resources Canada’s signature accelerated development program for Master’s and Ph.D. graduates. Program participants learn how to effectively manage their careers and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become leaders in policy. Registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their business cards*. *Do not bring your CV/resume, business cards are sufficient as you have to apply online.
