As President Trump fills out his cabinet, there exists much uncertainty about what his election will mean for U.S. energy and environment policy. The Center on Global Energy Policy hosted a panel to discuss potential Trump policies with three senior energy and environment advisors to President George W. Bush—Jim Connaughton, former Chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, Jeff Kupfer, former Acting Deputy Secretary of Energy, and Bob McNally, former Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for International Energy, National Security Council. Mr. Connaughton, Mr. Kupfer, and Mr. McNally offered their insights on what we can potentially expect from the new administration.
