Please join the Center on Global Energy Policy for a lecture and discussion with Daniel C. Esty, Commissioner, Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), and Richard L. Kauffman, Chairman, Energy and Finance for New York and Chairman, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
Commissioner Esty and Chairman Kauffman will discuss current trends and innovative approaches to clean energy deployment at the state level, including the role of green banks and other financing mechanisms, net metering, utility regulation reform, and distributed generation, among others. The event will also look at how activities at the state level, both policy and investment, can help influence the national agenda. Center Director Jason Bordoff will moderate the Q&A. This event is open to the press. Registration is required.
