Biography

Lewis (Zhaoyu) Wu is a Research Associate at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. His research centers on energy systems modeling with a particular focus on data science, data curation, data pipeline construction, data validation, and energy systems model calibration, operation, and analysis. Lewis also supports research activities related to energy transition, Net Zero agenda, international trade of critical minerals and energy commodities, and energy policies.

Lewis holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Columbia University Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Computational Physics from the University of California Irvine School of Physical Science.
