The following color-coded campus status levels have been developed to simplify communication regarding the current circumstances on and around the Morningside campus. The campus status level is based upon the potential disruption to our academic mission and/or campus operations. The status level will be adjusted up or down to reflect then-current circumstances, including information received from law enforcement and other sources regarding potential events that could affect Columbia. Continued adherence to university rules and policies remains fundamental to maintaining an open campus. Read more.

Wil VanLoh

Founder and CEO, Quantum Capital Group

Biography

Wil founded Quantum Capital Group in 1998 and serves as CEO of the firm and as Chairman of Quantum’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee. Prior to founding Quantum, Wil founded Windrock Capital, an energy investment banking firm specializing in raising private equity for and providing merger, acquisition, and divestiture advice to private energy companies. Early in his career, Wil worked in the energy investment banking groups of Kidder, Peabody & Co. and NationsBank.
Wil is an active civic leader, currently serving on the Board of Trustees of Baylor College of Medicine, the Board of Visitors of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Kingdom Giving Fund and is on the Advisory Board of Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy. Wil holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University.
