Scholars and faculty from the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia SIPA (CGEP) and Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) will join students for a series of engaging seminars to discuss the world’s most pressing issues and solutions related to energy and the environment. The goal of this seminar series is to thoroughly engage with the forces of technology, policy, and everything in between as they relate to the challenge of mitigating the effects of climate change.
Our first seminar will address low carbon infrastructure and feature Cheryl LaFleur, CGEP Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Member of the Board of Directors of the Independent System Operator of New England (ISO-NE), Former Chairman of the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and Professor Vijay Modi, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Founder of the Quadracci Sustainable Engineering Lab (QSEL), Faculty Member at the Earth Institute. Maria Castillo (SEAS ’21) will moderate the conversation.
We have reached the maximum capacity for this event, and can no longer accept new registrants. If you wish to be placed on the waiting list, please send an email to email@example.com.
This series is only open to all currently-enrolled Columbia University students.
