Meet our staff and senior energy experts from government, academia, industry, and nongovernmental organizations.
Luma Dias is a Research Assistant and Charif Souki Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University. Previously, she worked at the Arapyaú Institute, a Brazilian philanthropy, coordinating international partnerships to boost finance for climate and biodiversity initiatives in the Amazon and Atlantic Forests. Luma also served as Climate Finance Manager for the British Government in Brazil, leading a bilateral cooperation portfolio focused on land use and sustainable livelihoods. She is pursuing a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in Energy and Environment at Columbia University. Additionally, she earned an MBA in Economics and Sustainability and a BA in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
