Climate change is a polarizing issue in the United States. But one can find people on both sides of the political aisle who are committed to halting climate change, though they may support different policy options. As part of our continuing series “Where Next on Climate?” the Center on Global Energy Policy will host a program focusing on conservative prescriptions to deal with climate change. Dr. Glenn Hubbard, Dean of the Columbia Business School and former chair of the Council of Economic Advisors under President George W. Bush, will offer opening remarks. We will then have a panel discussion involving Dr. Hubbard and the following experts: Dr. John Diamond, Rice University and Baker Institute for Public Policy Dr. Lynne Kiesling, Purdue University and R Street Institute Rich Powell, ClearPath Foundation Registration is required. Guests unable to attend can view a livestream of the event at http://energypolicy.columbia.edu/livestream.
