John Cornwell is an energy policy professional with over ten years of experience in cleantech research and analysis, project and program management, and policy development currently serving as CGEP’s Associate Director, Carbontech Development Initiative. Most recently, John was a Sr. Policy Analyst, Renewable and Clean Energy, Oregon Department of Energy where he served as the agency renewable and clean energy subject matter expert with a focus on identifying challenges and opportunities associated with decarbonizing Oregon’s power grid. He has managed complex agency research projects with extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement and consultation.
