Daniel Propp is a Senior Special Assistant to the Founding Director at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA. Prior to joining CGEP, he worked for Resources for the Future, an independent think tank, researching policy options for a just transition away from fossil fuels. He also served as a policy analyst for Camco Clean Energy, a clean energy investment firm focused on Sub-Saharan Africa. He articles on energy and climate policy have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Journal of international Affairs.
Daniel holds an MPA in Energy and Environment from Columbia SIPA and an AB in Earth Science from Dartmouth College.
