Daniel Propp is Special Assistant to the Founding Director at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia SIPA. He joined CGEP after receiving his Master’s of Public Affairs from the Columbia University School of International Affairs, where he studied energy policy and international organizations.

Daniel previously worked at Resources for the Future, where he contributed to the think tank’s “Fairness for Workers and Communities in Transition” project. He has also served as a Policy Analyst for Camco Clean Energy, a renewable energy financing organization focused on Sub-Saharan Africa. Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree in earth science from Dartmouth College.
