In THE BOOM: How Fracking Ignited the American Energy Revolution and Changed the World, Russell Gold, senior energy reporter at The Wall Street Journal and Pulitzer Prize finalist, chronicles the rise of this once-obscure oilfield technology and gives the full, multifaceted story of its pros, cons, and staying power.
