Yulin Lou is a Research Associate at the Center on Global Energy Policy. She works on issues related to critical minerals policies and supply chains. She holds master degrees in International Affairs and Quantitative Analysis from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Journalism from New York University. She joined CGEP as a research assistant during her graduate program. Her work appeared in “The Guide to Chinese Climate Policy 2022”.
Prior to joining Columbia University, she worked at the World Resource Institute where she provided research on renewable energy development in North America and energy equity. Yulin also worked as a policy advisor at the Permanent Mission of I.R. of Afghanistan to the United Nations. Her work focused on economic development in rural Afghanistan.
