Associate Director of Development
Simona Shuboni is the Associate Director of Development at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA. She started at CGEP in May 2019 as the Assistant Director of Development.
Before joining the Center, Ms. Shuboni was a Senior Researcher in the Office of Development at NewYork-Presbyterian. Ms. Shuboni worked in the education field for several years prior to beginning her career in fundraising at Michigan Opera Theater in Detroit, MI. Ms. Shuboni also previously served on the Board of Apra of Greater New York as the Director of Programming.
She received a Master of Arts from Cornell University in Modern European History, specializing in postwar East and Central Europe, and a Bachelor of Arts from Albion College in Public Policy and History, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
