Senior Director of Development
Jodi Garner is Senior Director of Development at the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia SIPA. Ms. Garner brings to the Center extensive experience raising transformational funding for academic institutions and hospitals after a 15+ year career in financial services, academia and government. At the Center on Global Energy Policy, she leads the development team and direct all of the Center’s fundraising efforts.
Most recently, Ms. Garner was a Major Gifts Officer at New York-Presbyterian. In that capacity, she secured 7- and 8-figure gifts in support of the Hospital’s priorities. She also raised major gifts for the City College of New York and Weill Cornell Medicine. Prior to her career in fundraising, Ms. Garner was a vice president at Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan Chase where she designed and delivered the sales curriculum to 5,000 client-facing professionals across the 25,000 person firm and implemented the corporate-wide learning management platform for 100,000 + employees within six months of the $33 billion merger of J.P. Morgan and Chase, respectively.
Ms. Garner holds a Master of Business of Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
