Please join the Center on Global Energy Policy and The Harriman Institute for a lecture and discussion with Memduh Karakullukcu, Vice Chairman & President, Global Relations Forum. Mr. Karakullukcu will discuss how the evolution of oil and gas markets will impact energy security, prices, and trade and investment structures, focusing in particular on Turkey’s role as a “transit” country. He will also look at the development of new energy technologies and how policies can help promote cross-border collaboration and investment. He will conclude with a discussion on the role nuclear energy can play in Turkey’s energy supply. Alexander Cooley, Professor of Political Science, Barnard College, and Deputy Director of The Harriman Institute, will provide reactions and commentary following the presentation. Center Director Jason Bordoff will moderate the Q&A session.
